He is Risen Three days after His death, Mary Magdalene and Mary, went to visit the tomb of Jesus but found it empty. Suddenly an angel, dressed in white, appeared and announced Jesus’ resurrection and His departure to Galilee. The women ran to tell the disciples, who quickly left to meet Him. When Jesus saw them, He said: “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Go forth and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything that I have commanded you. And remember, I am with you always, to the end of the age” (Matthew 28:18-20).
